Scope of Services
At Brad On Board Cruises, our goal is to make cruise planning easier, help you compare your options, and support you throughout the booking process. This scope of services explains what you can expect from us and where our responsibilities begin and end.
Services We Provide
Depending on your trip, we may assist with:
Researching cruise lines, ships, itineraries, cabin categories, hotels, and related travel options based on your preferences and budget
Preparing and presenting cruise and hotel recommendations
Booking cruises and hotels through approved suppliers
Explaining available fares, promotions, packages, upgrades, and cancellation terms
Facilitating deposits and payments through supplier payment systems or approved credit card authorization methods
Providing booking confirmations and available supplier documentation
Monitoring final payment deadlines and sending reminders (as necessary)
Assisting with reasonable booking changes before travel, subject to supplier rules, availability, fees, and deadlines
Communicating with cruise lines, hotels, and other booked suppliers on your behalf when questions or booking issues arise
Providing general planning information related to your booked cruise or hotel stay
During-Travel Support
We provide limited assistance during travel when reasonably available.
If a problem occurs during your trip, your first point of contact should usually be the cruise line, hotel, airline, tour operator, travel insurance provider, or other supplier responsible for the affected service. Their on-site or emergency teams are generally best positioned to provide immediate assistance.
We may help communicate with a supplier or provide guidance when possible, but we do not provide continuous monitoring, 24-hour emergency support, or guaranteed real-time assistance.
Services We Do Not Provide
Unless specifically agreed to in writing, we do not:
Book independent flight arrangements unless booked as part of a cruise package
Provide ongoing flight monitoring or real-time travel alerts
Automatically rebook flights, hotels, cruises, or other services during disruptions
Guarantee cruise line, hotel, airline, excursion, or supplier performance
Guarantee the accuracy of supplier descriptions, photographs, amenities, schedules, or service standards
Guarantee room, cabin, dining, entertainment, excursion, or upgrade availability
Guarantee pricing until the supplier confirms the reservation and payment requirements are met
Guarantee that a promotion, fare, or cabin will remain available while a client considers a proposal
Accept responsibility for weather, natural disasters, illness, political events, labor disputes, travel delays, itinerary changes, supplier insolvency, or other circumstances outside our control
Provide legal, medical, financial, immigration, passport, visa, or insurance advice
Determine whether a traveler is medically fit to travel
Inspect hotels, ships, cabins, ports, or destinations on a client’s behalf
Resolve complaints based solely on personal preferences, such as food quality, entertainment, service style, or subjective expectations
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
Reviewing all names, dates, destinations, cabin or room categories, pricing, and booking details before approving a reservation
Providing accurate legal names and personal information exactly as shown on government-issued travel documents
Reviewing confirmations, invoices, payment deadlines, cancellation policies, and supplier terms
Ensuring all travelers have valid passports, visas, identification, vaccinations, entry documents, and other required travel documentation
Confirming passport validity and destination-specific entry requirements with official government sources
Making flight arrangements and other transportation unless booked as part of a cruise package
Making payments by the required deadlines
Notifying us promptly of any errors, requested changes, medical needs, accessibility needs, or special circumstances
Purchasing appropriate travel insurance or accepting the risks associated with declining coverage. We can provide quotes for these items and book them on your behalf.
Monitoring flight schedules, check-in requirements, embarkation instructions, and supplier communications
Contacting the appropriate supplier or emergency provider when immediate assistance is needed during travel
Failure to meet supplier deadlines or documentation requirements may result in cancellation, penalties, denied boarding, or loss of payments.
Changes and Cancellations
We can assist with change and cancellation requests before travel when reasonably possible. All changes are subject to supplier policies, availability, deadlines, and fees.
We cannot guarantee that a requested change will be available or that a supplier will waive penalties. Clients remain responsible for any supplier charges, fare increases, cancellation penalties, or nonrefundable amounts.
Supplier Responsibility
Cruise lines, hotels, airlines, tour operators, transportation providers, and other suppliers are independent businesses. They control their own schedules, staffing, pricing, policies, accommodations, and service delivery.
Brad On Board Cruises acts as an intermediary between the client and these suppliers. We do not control their operations and cannot guarantee their performance.
Communication and Availability
We respond to client questions and requests during our normal working availability. Response times may vary based on travel, weekends, holidays, supplier delays, and the urgency of the request.
For emergencies during travel, clients should contact the responsible supplier, travel insurance emergency assistance line, or local emergency services directly.
Separate Booking Terms
This scope of services is intended to explain how we work and what clients can expect. It is not a substitute for our booking terms and conditions, supplier terms, cancellation policies, or travel insurance documents.
By choosing to work with Brad On Board Cruises, clients acknowledge that they remain responsible for reviewing and understanding all booking documents and supplier requirements.
